About Montmartre

Once upon a time there was a beautiful area on a high hill outside of Paris. It was surrounded by tiny houses, mills, and vineyards, and it’s name was Montmartre. Inexpensive housing and irresistible bohemian charm soon began to attract many penniless immigrants who dreamed of becoming famous one day – they were so poor that they often bartered their paintings and sculptures for food when possible. Among them were Pablo Picasso, Max Jacob, and Amedeo Modigliani. A cradle for painters, sculptors, poets and writers, Montmartre was also a lively hotbed of creativity. Stunning girls performed the French cancan in its numerous cabarets, turning the heads of crowds. This visit is all about art, love and romance.

Meeting up

Olga, the enthusiastic Delicious Paris founder, will meet you and just a few others (maximum 6) outside the Metro: Abesses (line12, green). She will be waiting for you near the Merry-Go-Round. Delicious Paris caters for small numbers at a time. In this way, the organisation is much lighter and it also creates a particularly pleasant, convivial atmosphere. From here on, it will be action as Olga will be raring to go and to take you on the unforgettable Delicious Paris experience.

Breakfast with a difference

During breakfast à la française you will savour the délices in store like truly Parisians and from here the journey in time really begins: Olga will treat you to some anecdotes and stories in French history which will make books seem extremely dull in comparison.

To sum up

A unique experience for lovers of Paris and French life. You will have learnt so much more about the French art of savoir-vivre in this Delicious Paris experience. What’s more, you will have become a confirmed lover of French life !

La vie est belle à Paris !
