Do the best things come in small packages? We sure think so! The Boot Café is the new place to be. Located at the heart of the Marais, one of Paris’ most charming quarters, it is no bigger than 8m2 and only has the space for 3 small tables, providing for a quaint and intimate atmosphere in which to enjoy a perfect and brief retreat from Paris’ buzzing activities and the Marais’ wondrous attractions. The Boot Café used to be a cobblers’ workshop – or “cordonnerie” – and still retains its authentic spirit thanks to its blue shop-front and old glass windows, contrasting with its refurbished interior, charming colourful tables and marble counter.
Take a step into this wonderful jewel and enjoy Emperor Norton’s exquisite “pâtisseries” and cakes, accompanied by the finest coffee in Paris, straight from the Brûlerie de Belleville. There is no doubt you will walk out without a care in the world. The Marais really does enclose the best gems!

The Boot Café is located at 19, Rue du Pont aux Choux, in the 3rd district, or ‘arrondissement’. It is open every day except on Mondays!
P.S. There are no toilettes there which is the good news given Boot’s size:)
